About the job
Repair and test computer motherboards and component level parts within the Repair department specializing in electronic and circuit board repair.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recondition parts and equipment as directed
Verification and testing of used parts
Testing and repair of parts and assemblies
Provide phone support to Cash Depot Field Technician
Proper use of associated programs for logging the disposition of parts tested
Complete assigned tasks within scheduling deadlines
Soldering, repair, and mapping, and mapping of circuit boards
Identify and recommend efficiency improvements
Operate as a team player and help to unify the team
Performs other related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities)
High School Degree / GED
1+ year of professional work experience, electronics experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability in electrical / mechanical or willingness to learn.
Demonstrated ability in electrical / mechanical testing equipment or willingness to learn.
Operate within the corporate policy guidelines and business practices.
Results oriented and demonstrated strong sense of urgency.
Excellent communication skills, written/verbal with internal and external contacts.
Proven ability to be organized, detailed, multi-tasker, critical thinker, accurate, thorough and a problem-solver.
Ability to adapt to change in the workplace or assignment of duties.

While performing the duties of this job, the Family Member is regularly required to talk and hear. Required to frequently sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
The Family Member is occasionally required to lift and/or move 50 pounds, sit; stoop, bend and kneel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
This job operates in a professional technical / repaid lab environment. This role routinely uses standard electronic/mechanical testing equipment.
This is a full-time position. Days and hours or work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, occasional overtime required.
